Ladies Local Derby with Sheffield United Ladies

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Lady Millers programme section.
We were back in action on Sunday in a local derby with newly promoted Sheffield United Ladies FC and were looking forward to seeing an old face in Nat Shaw who has gone to play for her childhood club.
Unfortunately the result was a bit of a shock and we were left feeling very humbled after being beaten in spectacular fashion.
With the progression being made off the field and the influx of new players on it, it’s going to take some time for the team to gel and find their own identity.
We are receiving fantastic support from the Club and the Community Trust and once again we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who are behind us and helping the club build foundations for the players of tomorrow.
Our grassroots club Rotherham United Whitehill Girls are working closely with us and will be looking forward to a successful season of their own.
We’d also like to thank our kit sponsors Bierkeller Sheffield for their continued support this season.
As always we are looking to bolster our squad and encourage any budding footballer to get in touch.
